Leeds Festival 2007 Information
About Leeds Festival 2007
The other half of Mean Fiddler's lovechild with rock is Leeds Festival, a chance for the Northeners to get a taste of what
it's southern sister Reading has been made of for the past 25 odd years.
The same line-up, some extra additions thrown in with onsite activities, including fair ground rides and late night entertainment, as well as the feel of being out in the countryside means Leeds is the perfect other half of the Carling Weekend.
Although in recent years the event has become more diverse in its music policy, it's still predominantly rock orientated and consistently attracts the biggest international names, including Green Day, Foo Fighters, Muse and Pearl Jam in recent years.
The site has one main, open air stage where the biggest acts play and three tented arenas that cater for everthing from indie rock to hip hop and dance to punk and ska.
