Known for tracks like 'The Cutter' and 'The Killing Moon', the Liverpool group will be joined by The Cribs, Lyle Lovett and The Raghu Dixit Project on the
bill.
The National, Suede and Paulo Nutini will headline the
event this year with Kele, Paloma Faith, Rumer and Wanda Jackson
set to play along with The Waterboys, Everything Everything, The Bees,
Bright Eyes and British Sea Power.
Meanwhile, poets and authors set to perform
include Linton Kwesi Johnson, Jo Shapcott, Simon Armitage, Sarah Dunant, Dave Gorman and Alexei
Sayle will all appear, with comedians including Omid Djalili, Jason Byrne and Phill Jupitus.
There will be theatre and dance productions by the likes of Lyric Hammersmith, Bush Theatre, Sadler’s
Wells and English National Ballet, cabaret performances from Will Adamsdale, Bourgeois
and Maurice, and BAFTA will return to the Film & Music Arena with
Q&As, discussions and workshops including Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon discussing ‘The
Trip’.
