The band, know for indie anthems like ‘I Predict A Riot’ and ‘Ruby’ will return to the stage they headlined back in 2008.

In other news, Tinie Tempah has had to pull out of his Big Top performance at the event.

“Huge apologies to my fans,” the rapper said, “due to conflicting schedule demands I sadly won't be able to play this year’s Isle of Wight Festival but look forward to another opportunity in the future.”

Organisers have also announced The Garden Stage which will have performances from Tim Burgess and Mark Collins from The Charlatans (Acoustic Set), Andrea Corr, Ian Brodie and Tom McRae.

Roachford, Yellowire, Ben Montague, James Walsh, It's A Beautiful Day, Julie Felix, Scarlette Fever, Pronghorn, Joe Janiak, Bethia Beadman and Soul Circus will appear over the weekend too along with The Scarletz and Stereo Son.

Other acts for the Garden Stage include Bibelots, Charley Macaulay, Will and the People, The Bonfires, The Arcadian Kicks and Truly Violet.

With Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters and Kasabian headlining the event, and the likes of Pulp, Beady Eye, Tom Jones and The Vaccines also set to perform, all tickets have been snapped up well ahead of time.
