Lady Gaga added to Radio 1's One Big Weekend

Singer will headline the Sunday night

The singer will play on the Sunday (15 May) night with support from My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars, The Script, Taio Cruz and more.

The festival will take place in Carlisle in Cumbria from 14-15 May with Black Eyed Peas, Tinie Tempah and Plan B among the other acts confirmed.

More names are expected to be announced in the coming weeks for the BBC Introducing stage and Outdoor Arena.

20,000 music lovers are expected to attend the event which will boast four stages of live music.

Radio 1’s One Big Weekend 2011 tickets are to be handed out for free with the majority going to residents of Carlisle and other local areas.
