Frontman Matt Bellamy tweeted the news earlier today.

He said: "So we'll probably play Origin in it's entirety (as well other songs) at Reading/Leeds as it will be 10 years since it came out...Just wanna make sure u crazies get ur tix!"
Speaking to NME last week, Bellamy said that he wanted to mark the tenth anniversary of their second album, released in 2001, in some way at the shows.

"It's probably the last time some of these songs will ever be played live again," he said, "it'll be like coming full circle: we've gone off on one a little bit, and now it feels like the right time to pull it back and remind ourselves of what we were doing 10 years ago."

Reading Festival 2011 and Leeds Festival 2011 take place on August 26–28, with Muse headlining the Friday night (26) at Leeds and the Sunday night (28) at Reading.

Weekend tickets for either site are priced at £192.50, with day tickets from £82.50.

Reading Festival 2011
will take place at Richfield Avenue, Reading, and Leeds Festival 2011 will take place at Bramham Park, Leeds.
