Disco Bloodbath, Mistajam, Tayo and Luv*Jam
will also get people grooving alongside The Mirrors and
Sombrero Sound System.
Primal Scream,
Blondie and Mark Ronson have previously been added as headliners with support being supplied by Laura Marling, House Of Pain,
ABC and many more.
Now comedians Jack Whitehall,
Milton Jones and Marcus Brigstocke will appear as well with Andrew Maxwell,
Craig Campbell, Barry Castagnola, Seann Walsh, Robin Ince, Andre
Vincent and the Comedy Club 4 Kids who will be tickling ribs over the weekend.
Organisers
have also confirmed that Shrek The Musical will be stopping at the event.
Speaking about the news,
organiser Rob da Bank said: “Another ludicrously varied and tasty announcement to get your teeth
into...literally, as we announce some of the hottest chefs and festival food coming to Camp Bestival plus a mega comedy line-up
headed up by Jack Whitehall.
“Easy Star
All Stars are one of my favourite festival acts with their reggae versions of Radiohead and Pink Floyd and will be joining
us at Camp and perhaps most excitingly for the young at heart Shrek is comin’ to Dorset. Yee-haa!”
For all the foodies out there, Gizzi’s Tiki Tea Love Lounge will be setting up stall along with Kerstin
Rodgers – The Underground Restaurant.
Children will also have the chance to design their very own
Medieval cake and “cake-maker to the stars”, Lily Vanilli, will transform the winning idea into
a giant, spectacular cake.
Everyone who enters a drawing of their design into the competition will be invited
to a special tea party on Sunday afternoon where the cake masterpiece will be revealed and they’ll get to try a slice!
Cake designs, along with your full contact details so we can invite you to the party, should be sent to the Bestival
Office - Address: Lily Vanilli Cake Competition, Camp Bestival, 25 Denmark Street, London, WC2H 8NJ.
