They will be joining huge names from across the globe including Moby,
Magnetic Man, Deus, Lila Downs and
Beirut.
The alternative band, made up of Barlow
and Rhodes, were one of the leading electro bands at the turn of the millennium.
After success
with a number of albums such as ‘Lamb’, ‘Fear of Fours’ and ‘What
Sound’, the band went their separate ways in 2004 to work independently.
After working on their
own projects for a number of years, the band re-united in 2009 and have made appearances at festival such as The Big
Chill and Beautiful Days Festival.
Talking about why the band decided to reunite, Lou
Rhodes said: “I had a conversation with Andy on the phone end of summer 2010. Andy told me he really missed Lamb and asked me to give him one good reason why we shouldn’t
do another album. And I just couldn’t really come up with one.
“We were always saying we were
not going to work on a new album until there is something new to say. And the time has come.”
Lamb’s
upcoming album, ‘5’, is set for release on the 5 May 2011.
