Spiritualized, Battles to headline Standon Calling 2011

First names revealed for the festival - ticket details!

With new album ‘Gloss Drop’ imminent, Battles will top the bill on the festival's Friday night (12 August), while Jason Pierce's seminal psych-rockers take headlining duties on the Saturday (13 August).
 
Also confirmed to play are Penguin Cafe, John Cooper Clarke, Saul Williams, Errors, Caravan Palace, The Correspondents, Born Ruffians and Trophy Wife.
 
Malachai, Brassroots, Raghu Dixit, Various Cruelties, Silver Moths, Tripwires and Maddox complete the initial batch of acts playing the 5,000 capacity event this August.
 
Organisers have also announced that this year's theme will be "Gods & Monsters".
 
Standon Calling 2011 runs from 11-14 August at Standon Lordship near the village of Standon, Hertfordshire.
 
Adult Weekend Tickets are priced at £120, with Teenage Tickets £100.
