Biffy Clyro self-confirm for Glastonbury Festival 2011

Band to play following their secret show last summer

Last year the group appeared on the Park Stage as secret guests.

Speaking to bestnewbands.com, the band said: “We are playing Bamboozle actually, in America which is pretty exciting to get to play that festivals as there are a lot of really cool bands, and obviously we’re holding out for offers from other American festivals. 

“But over in Britain we’re playing Sonisphere which is really cool, and we’re doing Glastonbury and a couple of cool European festivals too.”

Other self-confirmed acts include Eels, The Coral, Noisettes, Elbow, Jessie J, Yuck and Jimmy Cliff.

U2, Coldplay and Beyonce will headline the event with the full line-up announcement expected in the Spring.

Glastonbury Festival 2011 tickets are currently sold out with a very limited number of re-sale tickets expected to go on sale in the spring.
