UK Festival Awards launch 'The City Sessions'

Conferences to tour the country in 2011

James Drury, Managing Director of Festival Awards Ltd, will moderate the first event, which will take place at the O2 Academy Leeds on Friday 25 March.

He said: “The UK Festival Conference has proved extremely popular so we wanted to make sure the festival industry across the UK could get access to the same high quality information and expertise without the expense of coming to London.”

UK Festival Awards organisers also unveiled Festival Insights.com, a new resource for people working in or with the festival industry, which will host news and information plus video debates from The City Sessions.

Tickets for The City Sessions Leeds are available for £25.

The City Sessions will then call at the O2 Academy Islington in London on Friday 15 April and the O2 Academy Bristol on Friday 13 May.

The conferences will then continue to Glasgow and Birmingham, with dates to be announced later in the year.
