System Of A Down and Linkin Park will headline the Download Festival 2011 line-up with a third bill-topper to be confirmed.

Pendulum, Korn, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie and Aveneged Sevenfold are among a slew of acts announced previously.

Def Leppard and The Darkness are rumoured to be appearing at this year’s event.

Download Festival 2011 tickets are on sale now priced at £180 for a weekend ticket with five days camping, £170 for a weekend ticket with three days camping and £145 for a weekend-only ticket.
