When asked by BBC Newsbeat about performing at the festival the singer said, “I'm not sure
what I'm allowed to tell you and what I'm not.
"We are definitely going to be playing some festivals in
the UK. All the best ones, let's put it that way.”
Later on when commenting on the line-up at the Somerset
event, Garvey said: “Glastonbury is the best festival in the world year on year and they know what they are doing.
"If they chose Beyonce
to close it's because they know it'll be a fantastic finish.”
Coldplay
and Beyonce were recently confirmed to be headlining the event, which takes place on 22-26 June 2011
at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, UK.
