The Sun say Coldplay will headline Glastonbury
Tabloid also refutes The Rolling Stones rumours

Chris Swindells - 06 February 2011
Speculation over the headline acts has been rife since last summer's event but The Sun believe Coldplay have been confirmed this week as a headliner for the saturday night of Glastonbury Festival 2011 in Pilton, Somerset.
Coldplay have been confirmed for a series of European
festivals including Rock Werchter 2011 in Belgium
and Pinkpop 2011 in the Netherlands, both of these festival
dates fit either side of Glastonbury Festival.
The newspaper also said The Rolling Stones
had turned down a "huge offer" to play the Worthy Farm festival from 22-26 June.
A source told the newspaper: "Getting the Stones to Glastonbury has been high on Michael Eavis's list of priorities
for a long time. He came really really close this time round.
"He came up with an incredibly tempting offer and Mick and the rest of the band were considering it closely but they
ultimately decided to turn it down."
Jessie J, Jimmy Cliff, Fatboy Slim, The Coral, Beyonce
and Rihanna are among the other Glastonbury Festival rumours
and self-confirmed acts.
Glastonbury Festival 2011
tickets are currently sold out with re-sale tickets expected to go on sale in the spring.
