Rock in Rio - Tickets available now

If you've been hiding in a cave, you may not know that the biggest rock festival in the world is crossing the Atlantic and coming to Portugal this summer. So far, it has one of the best line-ups we've ever seen!

Friday 28 May sees Paul McCartney kick off his European Summer tour, promising a set of Beatles, Wings and solo material.

Saturday 29 May will feature major international artists such as Peter Gabriel, Ben Harper, Gilberto Gil and the Ambassador of Rock in Rio-Lisbon, Rui Veloso.

Sunday 30 May will be very special indeed, with one of those ultra rare live appearances by the greatest hard rock band of all time - Guns N' Roses, supported by Evanescence among others.

The following weekend wreaks full on-metal havoc, courtesy of Metallica, Slipknot, Sepultra, Moonspell and Incubus, all performing on Friday 4 June!

Saturday 5 June couldn't be more different, with Britney Spears, the Black-eyed-peas and the Sugababes sharing the World Stage for today's pop festivities!

Sunday 6 June sees Sting closing the festival on the World Stage, along with the spanish artists Alejandro Sanz and Ivete Sangalo.

Tickets for each day cost 53 euro (about £36). They will sell out extremely fast, so if you fancy a holiday, combined with the best festival line-up of the Summer, best to order yours quick!
