The first bands for the event, which won Best Small Festival at last year’s UK Festival Awards,
will also be announced the same day.
Doves, The Coral, Calvin Harris and British Sea Power are among the acts who performed in 2010.
Festival bosses have announced
that fans will be able to secure a ticket for £35 and pay the remainder of balance six weeks before
the festival.
New for 2011, Kendal Calling have decided to branch out into the surrounding Woodlands
for a brand new area to play host to twisted teddy’s picnic by day and ravers paradise by night.
