Sandie Shaw added to Larmer Tree Festival

Sandie Shaw, the original Brit Girl, will be Jools Holland's special guest vocalist at 21st anniversary Larmer Tree Festival 2011.

Sandie was the first UK act to win the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967, with the song 'Puppet on a String'. Dagenham-born Sandie sang the title track to the British hit film 'Made In Dagenham' and will appear with Jools and his orchestra on the Wednesday night.

Bellowhead, Show of Hands, Spiers and Boden, Rosie Doonan and Skinny Lister have also been confirmed for the five day jazz, blues and folk festival in 2011.

Larmer Tree Festival 2011 takes place at the Larmer Tree Gardens near Salisbury, Wiltshire from Wednesday 13 - Sunday 17 July.

An adult weekend ticket costs £197 for five days, £162 for four days and £130 for three days. Youth and child tickets are available at discounted rates. Day tickets are available priced £32 - £59.
