Electric Picnic picks up European Festival Award

Irish boutique bash gets Best Medium Festival gong

Electric Picnic has won Best Medium Festival at the European Festival Awards 2010 tonight (Wednesday 13 January).

"Ireland's version of Glastonbury" had a great year in 2010, which saw Roxy Music, LCD Soundsystem, Foals, Massive Attack and Mumford And Sons among others deliver acclaimed sets.

Electric Picnic 2010 got a glowing 8/10 review from Virtual Festivals' Lonan O'Neill in September.
