Speaking to Q magazine, she said: “I'd love to play Glastonbury. I have heard so many things
about what happens there.
"I love rock music. I love Kings Of Leon and The Prodigy. You could have nightmares
about that guy with the clown face and the weird hair. That's a look to scare little kids, right?"
Dropping a hint for festival organisers Michael and Emily Eavis, she added: “I
think I could rock the stage at Glastonbury, no question.
"I know since Jay-Z played they are open to a lot more R&B. And ‘Umbrella’
would be the perfect song for that place too."
Fatboy
Slim, The Coral and The Rabbit Food
Spasm Band have self-confirmed for the summer festival.
More artists are expected to be announced in
the spring.
Big names tipped to join the line-up include U2,
Prince, Coldplay,
Radiohead, Pulp
and Bon Jovi, with bookmakers William Hill offering odds of
33/1 that a reformed ABBA will make an appearance.
Tickets for the festival sold out in a matter of hours, but a small number of resale tickets are expected to be released
in April.
Full details about the ticket sale will be available on Virtual Festivals closer to
the time.
