Bon Jovi puts interest forward for Glastonbury 2011

Chris Swindells - 22 December 2010
Bon Jovi admitted in an interview with the Daily Star
they are "toying" with the idea of playing Glastonbury Festival 2011.
The group will be in the UK for a string of dates during the same
period that the festival takes place in Somerset.
“I’ve always toyed with the idea of playing there,”
Singer Jon Bon Jovi said. “If they don’t have another old-timer like me, I’d love to go
out and see it and perhaps do a set, sure.”
No headline acts have been confirmed for Glastonbury 2011 but U2, Prince and Coldplay
are current favourites for the Worthy Farm Bash. As previously reported on Virtual Festivals, Fatboy Slim and The
Coral have confirmed they'll be playing the festival from 22 - 26 June on Worthy
Farm, Pilton.
Tickets are currently sold out but a small number of resale tickets are expected to be released
in April. Full details about the ticket sale will be available on Virtual Festivals nearer the time.
