Linkin Park to headline Download Festival 2011

Rob Zombie also added to the line-up - buy tickets!

They join System Of A Down, who were announced last week, as well as Rob Zombie who will make first appearance at the venue for 16 years when he last played with White Zombie.

Speaking about their appearance, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington said: "We are very excited to be playing Download again next year. It's one of the best festivals in the world and it's always an honour to play in front of such a great crowd. We can't wait!"

Avenged Sevenfold are also on the Download Festival 2011 line-up with plenty more acts to be unveiled over the coming months.

Early Bird weekend tickets are priced at £145. This offer ends 5pm Monday 20 December and includes three-day and five-day camping tickets.
