The Irish band, famed for hits like ‘We Cry’ and ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’, will play the
main stage on the Sunday (12 June) of the event when it returns to Seaclose Park, Newport
from 10-12 June.
Rapper turned soul boy Plan
B, pop starlet Pixie lott and Starsailor
frontman James Walsh will also appear on the same day.
Infamous Yardbirds guitarist Jeff Beck has also been
unveiled as a special guest for the Sunday of the festival ahead of headliners Kasabian.
Kings Of Leon and Foo Fighters will top the bill on the Friday (10 June) and Saturday (11
June) respectively with Pulp and The British Pink Floyd Show the only other acts confirmed.
More
names are expected to be named in the coming weeks.
Isle of Wight Festival 2011 tickets are selling fast but there are a number a weekend
camping tickets available for £175 and £87.50 for children (7-13 years). Under
7s go free but require a ticket.
