'No Foos, Jovi, Ozzy or Blink' at Download 2011

In a tweet, the Download Festival organiser confirmed that Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Ozzy Osbourne and Blink 182 would not be playing Download Festival 2011.

He also confirmed that Rob Zombie, Van Halen, Rush, My Chemical Romance and Green Day would not make an appearance at the festival, which takes place from 10-12 June.

Taking to Twitter, Copping wrote: "More to come but to quash the rumours there's no Foos, Jovi, Ozzy, Zombie, Halen, Rush, MCR, Blink, Green Day this year..that I can tell you".

System of a Down and Avenged Sevenfold were added to the line-up yesterday.

Download Festival 2011 tickets go on sale on Friday 3 December.
