Southside and Hurricane 2011 headliners revealed

Foo Fighters, Blink 182 and The Chemical Brothers are set to headline Germany's Southside and Hurricane festivals in 2011, organisers have announced.

Other acts confirmed include a trio of British bands in The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club and Friendly Fires.

They are joined on the bill by US hardcore punk bands Sick Of It All, Comeback Kid, Converge and Parkway Drive.

William Fitzsimmons, Darwin Deez, Frittenbude, Egotronic and Kvelertak complete the first host of artists to be announced for the festivals.

Southside and Hurricane 2011 tickets are still available and priced around 112 EUR.

Southside Festival 2011 and Hurricane Festival 2011 take place over the weekend of 17-19 June.

Hurricane Festival 2011 is located in Eichenring, Scheessel, Germany while Southside Festival 2011 is hosted at Neuhausen ob Eck near Munich.
