The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys for Benicassim

Organisers say Primal Scream will be performing a special set covering all their hits, whilst The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys will be returning to the festival around the releases of their fourth albums.

The Spanish festival returns for its 17th year in 2011. Situated in Benicassim, near Valencia, the event offers a variety of music acts, as well as extra-musical entertainment, including performance art, theatre and short films.

Tickets are on sale now. Early bird tickets are available until Thursday 25 November for £125, which includes eight days of camping from 11-18 July and all four days of the festival. From Friday 26 November, the prices rises to £135.
