Witnness The Strokes at Oxegen 2004

The Strokes have confirmed they will play Ireland's Oxegen Festival.

The band will join David Bowie and The Darkness at the two day Irish festival formerly known as Witnness, which takes place on July 10 and 11 at Punchestown Racecourse in County Kildare.

80 acts will play the two day festival and the remainder of the line-up is expected to be announced shortly.

Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday March 5, and cost 59.50 Euro for one day, 110 Euro for two days, and 130 Euro for a two-day pass including camping.
