Bestival scoops Best Major at UK Festival Awards

The team behind Bestival have had a night to remember at the UK Festival Awards ceremony tonight (Thursday) after scooping their second honour of the evening.

Following on from Camp Bestival 2010 picking up the Best Family Festival gong, Bestival 2010 took away the Best Major Festival prize as well.

The Rob da Bank-organised event beat off competition from the likes of Glastonbury Festival, the Isle Of Wight Festival, Download Festival, Reading Festival and Leeds Festival.

Following a capacity increase for 2010, it is the first time Bestival has contended in the category.
