Mumford And Sons named Best Breakthrough Act

Band pick up gong at the UK Festival Awards

Mumford And Sons were the first artist winners of the evening at the UK Festival Awards tonight (Thursday).

The group, who have made a massive dent on the festival circuit this summer, were named as Best Breakthrough Act.

The fending off the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses, Paolma Faith, Plan B, Ellie Goulding and more.

Best Headliner, Feel-Good Act of the Summer and Anthem of the Summer are still up for grabs for the bands later this evening.
