Kasabian to headline Isle Of Wight Festival 2011
Band line-up with Kings Of Leon and Foo Fighters

They join Kings Of Leon, who top the Friday (10
June) night, and Saturday’s (11 June) final act Foo Fighters on the line-up.
A recently reformed Pulp
will also appear alongside The British Pink Floyd
Show, who will make their first ever festival appearance at the event.
"I’m over the
moon. For our tenth anniversary, I’ve got the cream of today’s bands, both American and UK," said organiser
John Giddings about the announcement.
"Kasabian
weren’t touring and I love Kasabian," he added, "they’re one of my favourite bands. I persuaded
them to come and do an exclusive for us to launch their next album.”
This year tickets will be priced
at £175 for an adult weekend camping, £87.50 for children (7-13 years) and under
7s go free but require a ticket. Non-camping passes are available too.

go on sale tomorrow morning.
