Still celebrating the success of their debut album, 'What Came From Fire', the band will take their big room anthems to the three-day festival.

They will perform at St. George's Hall, which has seen sets from The Wombats, The Zutons and Ian McCulloch in previous years.

The festival hosts film premiers and art exhibitions, as well as live events from guest record labels. In the past, Domino, Moshi Moshi, XFM, Wall of Sound and Eat Your Own Ears have been represented, and 2011 is set to continue this tradition with a series of showcases and late night sessions across the city.

Liverpool Sound City will also be working with Mersey Beat to celebrate the publication's 50th anniversary. The newspaper will focus on the new generation of artists playing at the festival in the New Year.

Liverpool Sound City tickets are on sale at £25 and allow access to 300 acts over three nights.

Full Delegate Passes are available at £99, granting access to networking parties, panels and seminars, as well as headline gigs and secret parties. As of 1 December, they increase in price to £30 and £110 respectively.
