Loads of acts announced for Texas event

A Place To Bury Strangers, The Bees, Chapel Club, Ebony Bones!, Ed Harcourt, Erykah Badu and Frankie and the Heartstrings will also play along with Klaxons, Jonquil, Micachu and The Shapes and Yuck.

Alcoholic Faith Mission, Ancestors, Apex Manor, The Appleseed Cast and Art vs Science are pencilled in for the US event as well as Asobi Seksu, Babe Rainbow, Beni, Black Math Horseman and Black Spiders.

Braids, Brandt Brauer Frick, Brother, The Cabriolets and Calder Quartet will appear in 2011 alongside Candy Claws, Capsula, Cast, Chico Trujillo, Chikita Violenta, Clock Opera and Cloud Nothings.

Elsewhere, Coliseum, Coolrunnings, Dam Mantle, Designer Drugs, Doctor Krapula, Dredg, El Guincho, El Hijo de La Cumbia, Erland And The Carnival, FM Belfast, Fujiya And Miyagi and Get People will be appearing.

Giana Factory, Givers, Go Back To The Zoo, Gypsyblood, The Head and the Heart, High Rankin, The Holidays and In Fear And Faith are among the first acts unveiled with Iron Age, The Jezabels, John Vanderslice and Jon Fratelli set to play too.

Other acts on the bill include Kamp!, Kids of 88, L.Stadt, Le Butcherettes, Lia Ices, Liam Finn, Light Pollution, The Luyas, The Main Street Gospel, Marcus Foster, Mark Eitzel, Miami Horror, Miss May I, MSTRKRFT, Mujeres, Mustard Pimp, Naam, The Naked and Famous and Nite Jewel.

Parts And Labor, Plan B, PS I Love You, Pulled Apart By Horses, Reset!, Rosie and Me, Scars On 45, Schlachthofbronx and Shilpa Ray have been booked as well as Small Black, Sol Pereyra, Spleen United, Starfucker, Steve Mason and Sun Airway.

Superlitio, Suuns, The Swiss, Tego Calderon, Telekinesis and Thiago Pethit have been confirmed by organisers with Those Dancing Days, Tiê, Toro y Moi, Veronica Falls, Vicente Gayo, The War on Drugs, WhoMadeWho, Wild Flag, Wye Oak and Young Legionnaire set to try to impress too.

Those wishing to attend must register with the festival, with SXSW tickets for the music-only starting $650.
