We would like to apologise for the disruption to VF's service yesterday (19th October) and any alarm caused by the warning messages that may have appeared in your web browser when you tried to access the site.

The external company that hosts some of our adverts was attacked by some malicious software that caused any website that featured these adverts to be seen as potentially harmful to users, and made unavailable. As well as VF, many other websites were affected by the same issue.

The ad-hosting company immediately fixed the issue and as a result, Virtual Festivals is now completely safe to view (which is why you are viewing it right now). Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for bearing with us.
