Eurosonic Nooderslag will also hold the Festival Awards Europe presented by Virtual Festivals
Europe and Yourope, which will return in 2011 with a larger venue and more award categories.
Decided by a combination of public vote and industry juries, the Awards is the only pan-European initiative solely
dedicated to recognising the hard work and achievements of the event organisers and performing artists that generate billions
of Euros for local economies and brighten up the summer for tens of millions of fans each year.
With a dinner,
gala awards ceremony, live performances and an after-show party, it attracts some of the most influential people in the business,
who gather to let their hair down and celebrate the achievements of the last year.
The awards up for grabs include
Best Major, Medium and Small Festival, Festival Anthem of the Year, Best Line-Up, Lifetime Achievement Award and Promoter
of the Year.
