Daniel Fahey - 03 October 2010
The passes, which went on sale at 9am today (Sunday), were snapped up in a matter of hours.
Tickets for next year's event cost £195, an increase of £10 on this year.
However, people were only able to secure tickets this morning with a £50 deposit. The full payment due during the week following 1 April 2011.
A limited number of returned tickets will be resold after this date.
Those who want a chance of buying them should register now at www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk from 9am Monday (4 October).
National Express have been unveiled as one of the official coach partners of the Glastonbury Festival.
More festival-goers are travelling by coach to events because of its green credentials, it saves money on car parking and the coach drops ticket-holders closer to the campsite than any other mode of transport.
Coach tickets are expected to go on sale on Monday 4 October.
