Iron Maiden for Roskilde Festival 2011 line-up

The band's first appearance at the Danish event since 2003

It will be the group’s first appearance at the Danish event since 2003 on the back of their number one album ‘The Final Frontier’.

Roskilde Festival 2011 tickets will go on sale on 1 December.

“Roskilde Festival has always been very special for Iron Maiden. There’s an amazing atmosphere about the place and the crowd are real party animals,” said Steve Harris about the band’s booking, “We’ve heard the festival vibe is now better than ever, and as we’ve not been there since 2003 we’re really looking forward to finding out if that’s true.”

The band are the first act confirmed for the event.
