Over 100 bands set to play music festival in October

Returning for its seventh edition, this year the event will feature a special flagship evening at Concorde 2
on 7 October with performances from The Xcerts,
Munich, The Agitator, Autumn
Red and Jumping Ships.
Ramona, Monsters Build Mean Robots, Iris And
The Wolves, The Robot Heart, The Valentines, The Toniks, Tallulah
May and Kelly Barnes are also among those performing.
As well as this, Brighton’s Sealife Centre’s ‘music tunnel’ is set to host a series of
acoustic lunchtime busker concerts between midday till 2pm on Tuesday (5 October) through to Friday (8 October).
There will also be music-related seminars, workshops, master and the opportunity to do lots of drinking and schmoozing
at the Latest Music Bar.
This year the festival are doing things a bit differently with some ‘curated’
nights alongside the festival’s traditional ‘open access application’ policy for local bands to play.
Curated nights confirmed include BBC Introducing at The Prince Albert, Juice FM at Latest, Radio Reverb at Brunswick,
Brighton Source Magazine, The Great Escape and international soul jazz diva Z-STAR, all at Latest Music Bar.
