Monarchy, Gallops, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, David's
Lyre, Envy, Lady Chann and Napoleon IIIrd have also been pencilled
in along with Ice Black Birds, Let's Buy Happiness, Brasstronaut and
Mont Blanc.
Danny Mahon, Dignan Porch, The Woe Betides,
Becoming Real, Gypsy and the Cat and Ramona have been announced too along
with Worship, Catherine A.D., Young British Artists and Golden
Glow.
The final acts revealed include For A Minor Reflection, Orphan Boy,
Sophie's Pigeons, Stealing Sheep, Beans On Toast, Rum Shebeen,
I Am Blackbird, The Supernovas and My First Tooth.
Factory Floor,
No Age and Mount Kimbie are among those already confirmed as well as Male Bonding,
Yuck, Crystal Fighters and many more.
The festival showcases new music with over
200 acts in 20 venues in the Northern Quarter and Picadilly regions of the city, and also features many discussion forums
led by keynote speakers.
Previous events have offered early chances to Oasis, Coldplay,
Radiohead, Muse, Doves and Chemical Brothers.
Wristband tickets are still available through HMV at a price of £29 for three-nights of live new
music.

In The City 2010 is also a chance to attend discussions between leading industry figureheads, such
as REM's Manager and former Warner Music Chairman Bertis Downs who talks of his experiences.
