Re-united Pixies coming to a Festival near you?

The Pixies have finally confirmed they'll be touring North America and Europe this summer adding fuel to the rumours of one or two UK festival appearances!

After months of rumours the Pixies have officially confirmed that a full US and European tour is planned for later this year.
The band will play a number of warm up dates in Canada before their set at Conchella Valley Music and Arts Festival (May 1st and 2nd) followed by a number of US and European dates.

Inevitably, the possibility of festival dates is now very high, and the rumour mill has gone into overdrive with Glastonbury, V, T in the Park and a support slot on the Red Hot Chili Peppers's euro dates touted as potential dates. The Daily Record in Scotland has reported that the band are all but confirmed for Saturday night at T in the Park, but so far definite news of this summer's defining event is short on the ground.
