Organisers have announced that those wishing to attend can secure passes by paying a £50 deposit
if they can’t afford or don’t wish to pay the full ticket price all off at once.
There will then be
no further UK payments taken until the booking site re-opens on 1 April 2011, when fans will have a week
to pay the remaining £145 balance.

Glastonbury Festival
tickets can also be bought over the phone on 0844 412 4635.
Organisers released the following
statement on their official site:
"This extension to our deposit scheme will allow people more time to
save for their tickets, knowing that they have a secured booking. It will also help the Festival to reduce costs, allowing
us to give more to our joint charities."
International buyers will be for one week from 25 February
to 3 March 2011 to pay off their remaining deposit balance.
Anyone who decides not to pay their
balance in 2011 will be refunded their deposit, minus a £10 administration fee.
Those tickets
will then be put forward to a re-sale, which is likely to be in April or May 2011.
Registration
for Glastonbury 2011 has now opened and those wishing to attend must sign up for a chance of obtaining tickets.
Registrants must send off their details with a photograph of themselves to a registration system.

Anyone twelve or under when gates open does
not need a ticket and therefore need not register.
Registration does not guarantee you a ticket. You will need
your registration number to purchase tickets when they go on sale.
Those who register have the option of having
their information saved for future years so they don’t have to re-register for each festival.
Glastonbury Festival 2011 will take place
at Worthy Farm, Pilton in Somerset from 22-26 June.
