Everything Everything call Reading set 'lovely'
They tell us they'd take Marina & the Diamonds out to dinner
31 August 2010
We caught up with the rising band just after they came off stage at this weekend’s rock weekend. They were clearly
delighted with the show and the crowd’s reaction.
The group described their show as, "great really,
really nice," adding that it was, "one of the biggest crowds we’ve played too very receptive, very
generous people. [It] was lovely."
When discussing their debut album ‘Man Alive’ the band
explained that the sound is "quite diverse, considered more adult, [a] bit more restrained."
In
comparison to the singles they have released, the band told us, "it’s good to get a balanced offering out."
We also talked to the quartet about being shortlisted for the BBC Sound of 2010 along with Marina
and the Diamonds and Ellie Goulding and asked which of the two they would rather take out for dinner.
They replied: "We’d take Marina out for dinner, but we’d take Ellie out for a run."
