"Thank you very much, this is called 'I Felt Stupid'” explained lead singer Jonathan
Pierce, who dressed in a mustard coloured shirt for the occasion, as he glided across the stage for their performance
of the single.
Other songs included 'Don't Be A Jerk Johhny' which Pierce introduced as "a
song about a girl I used to love, but now I hate," as the band began the intro and he used his fist to bang the
monitor in front of him.
The band however, failed to maintain their early appeal with the rear half of the tent
emptying substantially before the set’s climax.
Reading Festival 2010 continues today (29 Aug) with sets from Klaxons, We Are
Scientists, British Sea Power and many more.
