NOFX bring out the sunshine in their first set of two

American punk jokers hint at secret show

Stating their intentions early with quick-fire three-chord punk such as 'Dinosaurs Will Die' and 'Bob', blue-haired Fat Mike and his NOFX pals amused a modest crowd at Leeds this afternoon.

Their good-humoured capers were warmly received by a crowd enjoying the best weather of the day, some brief sunshine. "Hey everybody I'd like to introduce you to the sun," said Fat Mike. "...Oh no, it's gone."

The band also hinted at a secret show in one of the tents, telling everyone to head to the Lockup Stage later... "Just because."

Fans are excitedly talking today of the prospect of seeing controversial headliners Guns N Roses, as well as Queens Of The Stone Age and Biffy Clyro.

Leeds Festival 2010 continues today (29 Aug) with sets from LCD Soundsystem, Guns N’ Roses and many more.
