Doing keepie-ups, running the barrier, climbing billboards, destroying the stage and bouncing on a trampoline, mentally unsound
frontman Rivers Cuomo made an argument for being locked up with an insane performance that had old and brand
new fans alike amazed.
Opening with rock anthem 'Hash Pipe', the band also flew through oldies 'The
Sweater Song', 'Surfwax America' and 'Say It Ain't So' before shocking the ever-growing crowd with
brilliant takes on Wheatus' 'Teenage Dirtbag', MGMT's 'Kids' and Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face',
with Rivers donning a blonde wig.
To finish it all off in style they played fan favourite 'Buddy Holly',
with the crazed singer running into the crowd and causing utter carnage as fans charged to get a dance with the man of the
moment.
Fan, Jennifer Johnston, 24 rated them extremely highly: "Marks out of 10? 15!"
