Yuck guitarist Daniel Blumberg made sure that he kept his Reading experience in the family and invited Ilana to join the band on the Festival Republic stage.

"This is my sister," he explained as the 15 year old Ilana coyly took to the stage remarking about the mic stand, "this is a bit high," as it towers above her for a performance of 'Torture'.

Despite no album being released yet, the band, consisting of ex-Cajun Dance Party members, plough through unheard material, "we only played this next song for the first time yesterday," explains Blumberg as they perform a tune which includes lines such as 'I could be your suicide policeman', to much cheers and applause from the crowd.

The band end on 'Should I Kill Them' to cement the idea that if shoegaze and grunge aren't back, they definitely should be.
