Severe weather delays entry to Shambala 2010

Gates will now be open from 2pm on Friday

Organisers of Shambala Festival 2010 have had to delay entry onto the site due to the recent severe weather conditions.

A statement on their website confirms gates will now open at 2pm on Friday 27 August, although the Thursday coach service will be operating as normal.

Prolonged rain has meant the need for site maintenance to ensure the car parks are passable for the festival, which runs until 30 August at a secret location in Northamptonshire.

Crew and performers will also be refused entry prior to the amended opening time.

Tickets for Shambala Festival 2010 have now sold out.
