Reading fans asked to donate tents to Pakistan flood victims
Volunteers will be onsite to advise how to help out

Sam Chapman - 25 August 2010
The plea came after many tents were simply thrown away or even burned at the end of last year's festival.
Volunteers
are due to be on site for the three-day festival taking place this weekend (27-29 August) to advise attendees
of how they can donate to the five million Pakistanis without shelter.
Det Insp Simon Bedwell told
the BBC: “Many festival-goers
buy tents specifically for the festival and throw them away or destroy them afterwards.”
This year's
headliners are Guns N' Roses, Arcade Fire and Blink 182.
