Pixies to reform for Coachella!

The biggest news this hour is that the stupendous Pixies are to reform and play at Coachella 2004...if you ever needed an excuse to visit California then this might be it!

Pixies for Coachella!

There is some debate about whether it will be The Pixies or Radiohead headlining Saturday night in the desert for Coachella 2004, but the report we have read stating that it would be Radiohead left Thom Yorke agape with astonishment and crying out from the rooftops that if that was the case then it was proof positive that the universe is fundamentally screwed up!

The fact that it's a tradition or an old charter or something that every year of Coachella has generated a Pixies to reform rumour makes it fitting in the extreme that they have indeed chosen this Californian music and arts fest to pick up where they left off. Coming as it does a year after Iggy rejoined with The stooges, it looks possible that if this trend continues we might eventually see Keith Harris getting back with Orvil some time around Coachella 2023.
