Fran Healy & more join Xfm Winter Warmer
United Kingdom | |
01 December 2003
Fran
will perform acoustically without his band for the gig in aid of homelessness
charity Shelter. And completing the line-up will be McAlmont & Butler who join
The Cooper Temple Clause, The Music, Graham Coxon, Martina
Topley-Bird and Scissor
Sisters on the bill.
This will be one of Xfm's biggest live events and rounds off an incredible year for live music on the station.
The station's
Programme
Controller Andy Ashton told us: "This is going to be the coolest possible end
to the hottest year ever for Xfm. We first started doing something for charity
a couple of Christmases ago, with our album 'It's a Cool, Cool Christmas' in
support of The Big Issue. This year, with so many great acts keen to actually
get up on stage and show their support, we felt it was time to take things
to the next level."
