Cheryl Cole yet to pull V Festival show despite illness
Star is currently being treated in hospital for malaria

The Girls Aloud singer, who is currently receiving specialist care at University College London for the disease, is due to play the Hylands Park
event on Saturday 21 August before heading to Weston
Park a day later (22 August).
"V
Festival has not been informed by Cheryl Cole's management that she will not be appearing at this year's festival,”
said a spokesperson for the festival, "Unless otherwise informed, organisers
are expecting her to appear as planned and wish her a speedy recovery."
Headlining this year’s
festival are King of Leon and Kasabian, with plenty of other bands already confirmed,
including Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy and Pet Shop
Boys.

V Festival 2010 takes place at Hylands Park in Essex
and Weston Park in Staffordshire from 21-22 August.
