Wonder is said to have invited Winehouse to sing with him, however, when the time came
to perform she was turned away by the stage manager.
According to the Daily Star, Winehouse was
not the only act denied a duet: "Stevie had planned to duet with Corinne Bailey Rae and Jay Kay from Jamiroquai but
he decided it would be better to give the fans the solo set they had expected to see."
Stevie Wonder headlined the Sunday line-up, with Pearl Jam and Paul
McCartney headlining Friday and Sunday respectively.
Hard Rock Calling 2010 took place at Hyde Park, London, from 25-27
June.
