Lounge On The Farm 20109-11 July

What is it?
Lounge on the Farm is a family friendly festival with a tantalising mix of quality local food producers, classic music, comedy and theatre.  The festival has a green orientation and is committed to reducing emissions by ten per cent by 2010, while much of the produce on sale has travelled less than a mile from responsible producers.

Three to see:
Toots and The Maytals
The irreplaceable troupe behind such classics ‘Funky Kingston’ and ‘Pressure Drop’ were reputedly the first act to coin the word ‘reggae’. They will be bringing some of the smoothest rhythms from a career stretching back to the last time England won the World Cup.

Martha Reeves and The Vandellas
One of the biggest acts on the Motown label, Martha Reeves and The Vandellas were notable for their distinctly harder sound on such tracks as the Vietnam-era favorite ‘Nowhere to Run’.

Quantic and his Combo Barbaro

The jazz house maestro is back with an ethnically diverse group of musicians from the Americas.

Can I get tickets?

Tickets are available now priced £95 for an adult, £75 if you’re between 13 and 17,  £14 for children (6-12) and £210 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
